I never got around to writing a theme song, but if I ever did, it would sound exactly like this:
“Safe Travels” by Peter & the Wolf, at The Torture Garden
(And thank you, M, for introducing it to me.)
I highly recommend that you listen to Safe travels when you look at the photos below. Should you have complaints concerning the quality of the pictures, please blame the HS Luxury Band for all being really good at taking pictures but still not sending any to me. Instead, you’ll have to stick with the shitty ones I took.
Kind regards,
Hello Leibowitz

Fine foods in Tokyo

That’s all they really want. Some fun, etc

Ane proved to be a lean rapper (true!)

Advice for all other songwriters: try to include a multi-instrumentalist with Japanese heritage in your band. It really comes in handy when you go to Tokyo and need someone to order food, and weird drinks in karaoke bars

Wendy McNeill, or the ghost of a similar-looking singer/songwriter with purple hair and mean skills in playing the accordion

Hanging at the consulate

Us getting ready for playing at the consulate. Maia sporting her “Jane Fonda in 9 to 5″ look

Me sporting my “This camera is from the stone age. It has about 2 buttons and I still can’t work them” look

When we got back, we played at Nalen and had all of these glorious “men” waiting for us! From left to right: Magnus the sound guy, Jens the bass player guy

Andreas the blurry hand guy (notice how Leibowitz manages to put focus on trees outside)

Fredrik: “How high do I rate Jönssonligan på Mallorca on a scale from 1 to 10?”

Per-Olof our saxophone player, slash professor in the knowledge of dip sauce

Oh, and here’s a picture of Jesper the trumpet player from Emmaboda, just because it felt weird I didn’t have any pictures of him from all autumn

Bonus: the state of my shower at a hotel i Umeå: it appeared people had been indulging in, eh, some joyous activities, in it
