You make up a song out of nothing. That’s what you believe, anyway. And just months later, the exact same thing you wrote about happens. I won’t specify. But
it’s a curse baby and it makes me believe from now on, I should only write really happy songs or my life will be miserable. (If you’ve heard my Swedish album Säkert! you’ll especially understand my concern)
Billie the vision and the dancers asked me to write a song with them, and when BTV asks you to do something, that’s what you do. We e-mailed the lyrics to each other. It’s about watching TV with a person you barely know.
After recording the song, Lars the dancer and me sat talking in the night. He said he had been through the same thing, making up a song only to later on finding it come through. We kept quiet for a while and watched two episodes of Scrubs. Then, we looked at each other and screamed.
Here’s “Overdosing with you”
and here’s where Billie The Vision And The Dancers live
I also did a duet with Montt Mardié for his double album Clocks/Pretender. The song is called “Pretenders” and might make you weep. Home o’ Montty
