We didn’t know at the point that we did but we did. We said Ladyfest would be our one Swedish show of the year - and what a good time we had there! - but then Way Out West invited us.
“Maybe we’ll get to meet Lily Allen”, we thought. “Maybe we’ll get to see Shane MacGowan up close”, we thought. “Maybe we’ll get to kick that bitch Säkert!”, we thought. But most of all, we thought that perhaps all of the lovely people who always greet us when we play in Göteborg would be there. So we gladly said: “Yes, yes, take us west.”
