This made my day, not only because I swear by Pitchfork, but because someone finally understood what I’m making: country music!

Very rarely I do solo shows. But there’s one coming up real soon - Voxhall in Aarhus, DK, on September 5. Maia Hirasawa and Keren Ann are also playing. How could you not be there? I’ll be sure to play both new and old songs - mostly the slow, confessional ones though. You won’t be dancing, but I hope to make you cry. And if I don’t, Maia or Keren Ann will.

I’m sorry the site has been down for a couple of months. But now, friends! At last, the new Hello Saferide album is on its way.
I’ll give you more news very soon but for now, all you have to know is that first single Anna will be released on August 27, and the album More Modern Short Stories From Hello Saferide, will be arriving in your record shop and on your Itunes on September 24. The album is produced by Andreas Mattsson. It features no hand claps and hardly any acoustic guitars. I’m telling you this now, so you have some time to digest this information.
