A day in the life

July 16th, 2007

07.00 Jesper and I meet up at Landvetter airport, Sweden.

09.30 SAS lose our guitars at Heathrow airport, UK.

09.45 Jens, Fredrik, Maia, Per-Olof and tour manager/sound boy Magnus meet up with us.

10.30 SAS return our guitars at Heathrow airport.

10.40 - 11.10 Trying to locate our bus.

10.30 Bus located. We now have 3 hours to get to Latitude festival in Suffolk. Driver gets a tad bit crazy and it’s not a safe ride at all.

14.15 Arrive at the festival and realise the keyboard we had rented has not arrived.

14.30 Travel with boat 2 inches to get to stage.

14.50 Nice guy at Latitude manages to borrow us another keyboard.

14.55 Gig starts.

15.20 Gig ends. Everyone hates us because we’ve played 5 minutes more than allowed.

16.00 Back in the bus. Everyone in Britain decides to travel at the exact same roads at the exact same time. Only three chairs have seatbelts. Combined with stress and rock n’ roll driver, Magnus ends up in Fredrik’s lap and P-O in Jens’ a couple of times. I get coffee and beer all over my normal clothes and have to change to short black dress. Look as if I was going to a night club and smell like I’ve lived in one for 200 years

17.00 - 19.30 Speaking about how good a time we had last year. In a year or so, we’ll probably be talking about how good a time we had this year.

20.15 Back at Heathrow Airport. Fredrik has to remove shoes as they clearly are terrorist shoes.

21.30 Plane leaves back to Stockholm.

We ruined the planet with all our travels. However. I love these people. (below)
