I’m on a train back to Stockholm, I’m rediscovering Grand Tone Music, I’m listening to Venues over and over again. The train is delayed and these are the so called news.

2008 has been a year that had the same feeling like when you enter a house and sense that someone else is in there wanting to hurt you, but you never find anyone.

It’s been a year when recording an album was nothing but pleasant and a year when I once again realised how lucky we are for having you listening to us. I get a few e-mails every day and most of you share pretty personal stuff that you wanted to tell because they relate to a HS song. The letters are always extremely smart, funny and well written.

Arjeplog.

2008 was the year I went to Arjeplog and heard the wind in the trees going shh-shhh. It was the year when we started working with Andreas and he came up with the guitar part for Anna. It was the year when I was back in a van with Jens, Fredrik and Magnus and we threw Andreas, Andrea and Tomas in there as well. It was the year when something else was real near.

I saw a movie that I think about every day - De ofrivilliga -, I read Gentlemen by Klas Östergren for the first time and we had our live premiere with the band in Washington, DC.
