Spain!
October 25th, 2009Andrea and me are going to Spain for Fikasound’s Voces Femininas festival tour! We’re playing here:
18 noviembre, Fotomatón Bar, Madrid
19 noviembre, Teatro Principal, Orense (also playing: Basia Bulat, Dawn Landes)
21 noviembre, Auditorio Caixanova, Vigo (also playing: Basia Bulat, Dawn Landes)
All I can say in Spanish is Feliz Navidad so I’m happy Christmas is coming up resonably soon.

Dear Annika and Andrea,
Thanks for coming to our little corner of the world, Galicia, to play your beautiful and refreshing songs. I loved your concert and actually would have loved it to last longer.
Don’t know if you have been told so, but we have our own language in Galicia, very close to Portuguese, and actually the Galician culture is pretty different from the rest of Spain. In fact, it has several similarities with the Swedish way of life (I have lived in Sweden for some time), that are quite interesting. Related to that, I would like to mention that the correct name for the city is Ourense, with an ‘u’. That’s the original Galician name and also the official one.
